What practitioners think about PreViser.....
"For the dentist it's the magic algorithm that we will all covet to combine our periodontal readings with real life risk assessment factors that we acknowledge can adversely affect periodontal health.
PreViser packages and simplifies this process into a new benchmark standard for what amounts to a very little extra effort and time, and in the process puts us in a substantially more proactive and secure position.
The really exciting outcome and performance indicator I have found has been the unanimously positive response and increased level of motivation and understanding from our patients".
Dave Neupert BDS, GDP Denplan Advisor
"PreViser provides an easy method to allow the practitioner to explain the risks and the nature of periodontal disease to patients. Some patients when presented with the information in this way seemed to suddenly understand it. You could see it in their eyes."
Peter Everson BDS, Guiseley Dental Care
"There are many great things about using PreViser: for the dentist it helps identify the patients most at risk from periodontal disease and aids patient consent to the correct treatment; for the patient it is nice to have a consultation away from the dental chair (we sit next to the computer screen to go through the process) and a common comment is 'it's fantastic you are so up to date!'"
Richard Marsden BDS, The Red House, Malton
“I think Previser is one of the most exciting things ever to have happened to dentistry in the UK. It helps clinicians diagnose perio risks, and gives them a clear, evidence based and externally verified route for recommendations to manage those risks. Patients love it, and its a huge practice builder. Please talk to Liz about getting Previser into your practice” Linkedin Recommendation, June 14, 2011

What practitioners think about myDentalScore
"I think this is great! I think the data required makes patients think about important risk factors without a 'professional' breathing down their neck!"
Mike Busby, Dental Advisor to Denplan
"I have been waiting for something like myDentalScore for some time now. How great it is that the general public has an opportunity to gauge their risk for oral disease. This can only help motivate the throngs of people with unmet dental needs to seek care"
Tim Donley, Periodontist
Prof I Chapple, Birmingham University Dental School was initially sceptical about the concept as his own market research had indicated that the dental profession is uncomfortable with patients self diagnosing. He did however change his mind having used the system on himself. He said,"It raises awareness using evidence-based information which does not scaremonger but which encourages patients to seek professional support for their oral health. When I entered my own data into the questionnaire, the results seemed appropriate and accurate. I liked it because it is very simple and encourages patients to think about the oral health as part of their overall health. Importantly it makes the point that if you want to be assessed property, you should go and see your dentist."
