User's Guide Overview:
The User’s Guide is divided into several sections. You can read the entire guide in order, or you can read the rest of this introduction and then start with the section that best matches your needs and knowledge. Within each chapter, we recommend viewing the topics in order; the order of the pages is designed to roughly follow the basic workflow for using PreViser in your normal practice routine.
The following list Summarises each section’s contents:
- Getting Started introduces you to learning and using PreViser and the support offered in this User’s Guide. It explains how to install PreViser and introduces the PreViser workspace. Read this section first, as an orientation to learning the application, then go on to whatever topics or Help tools interest you most.
- PreViser Basics explores the background, design, and functional content of PreViser. It is organised in two sections, to first give an overview of PreViser and then provide detailed documentation to explain each part of the application to the user.
- Tutorials are step-by-step lessons, designed to teach you the fundamentals of PreViser and walk you through some common tasks you will perform.
- Appendix materials provide many supplementary resources to enhance your understanding of PreViser and get further information. By grouping the most specific data here, the rest of the User's Guide flows more smoothly, allowing you to look up reference material whenever you wish.
Navigation Tips:
Click on main topics in Table of Contents in the frame on the left, to display those contents in the main frame on the right.
Some topics include only one page, while some include a whole series of pages, particularly in the documentation section (the Features and Functionality chapter). Once you have clicked on the topic you wish to view in the Table of Contents, navigate the topic pages by clicking the Back and Forward buttons at the bottom of each page, which progress sequentially through all the pages included in that topic:
