The following
list outlines the main standards of how PreViser handles Patient records
and Provider accounts.
Note: A "Provider"
refers to an individual clinician or practice providing health care to
Patients - in other words, you as a clinician and professional using PreViser™ risk assessment software.
Authentication
Only active Provider accounts may access the Patient Management Services.
This gives access only to those patient accounts that are associated with
that Provider. You cannot access records for patients of another Provider,
and your patients' records may only be viewed by your practice, not other
Providers.
Find
a Patient
All patients are associated with a Provider. You as a Provider can search
for a patient by "Patient Name," and can only search for and
access your own patients' records.
Show
All Patients
This service returns a list of all your patients' record headings associated
with you as a Provider. Clicking "Browse All Patients" from
the Home page allows you to page through, filter, and sort the Patient
List.
New
Patient Records
As a Provider, you can create a new Patient record which will store that
patient's health history as Treatment Option Reports are produced. (Currently,
PreViser does not automatically integrate and share data with other patient
management software systems you may use.)
Update
a Patient Record
Providers can edit parts of a Patient's record on the Patient Details
screen, which saves the new version of the record. This allows you to
keep records current if your patient changes insurers, moves to a new
address, etc.
Deleting
a Patient
Deleting a Patient with finished Risk Assessments is not allowed. Once
the Patient record is created and has a completed Risk Assessment associated
with that record, it is permanent.
Provider
Account
Your active account (with a user name and password) allows you
to access the Patient Management Services as described above, the Risk
Engine Services, and the Treatment Option Plan services.
Update
a Provider's Account
PreViser has the ability to edit a Provider's record. The password
can be changed at your request. Your account can also be marked as "Inactive"
which disables your account's access to the PreViser base services. This
would only occur with reasonable cause to disable the account. |
